8/28/2026 Job Description LaborMAX Staffing is hiring Bilingual Construction Laborers / Masonry Helpers for full-time construction work in the Lake Charles, Sulphur, Carlyss, and Iowa, Louisiana area. This position will assist experienced bricklayers and masonry crews with general construction labor, carrying and staging bricks and blocks, mixing mortar, loading and unloading materials, jobsite cleanup, moving tools and supplies, and keeping materials ready for the crew. Previous masonry or bricklaying experience is not required. Candidates with experience in general labor, construction, concrete, roofing, landscaping, demolition, industrial labor, material handling, or outdoor work are encouraged to apply. Pay:
$17-$20/hr depending on experience
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-5:00
PM Location:
Jobsites throughout Lake Charles, Sulphur, Carlyss, Iowa, and surrounding Southwest Louisiana Relevant experience may include: Construction Laborer, General Laborer, Masonry Helper, Bricklayer Helper, Mason Tender, Construction Helper, Concrete Laborer, Skilled Trades Helper, Material Handler, or Outdoor Laborer.
Requirements:
Bilingual English/Spanish. Reliable transportation to changing jobsites. Authorized to work in the U.S. Able to perform physical outdoor labor, lift construction materials, follow directions, and report to work reliably.
