Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Commercial Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee large-scale commercial construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate project activities, manage construction teams, ensure adherence to safety standards, and deliver projects on time and within budget. Your expertise in construction management, scheduling, and quality control will drive project success while maintaining the highest standards of safety and craftsmanship. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive leader passionate about shaping commercial spaces and delivering exceptional results. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. Responsibilities 1. Technical Execution & Quality Control The successful candidate will possess a "lead by example" mentality, with the ability to perform and oversee essential construction tasks, including:
Sheetrock & Drywall:
Professional-grade repair and finishing.
Painting:
High-quality interior and exterior finishes.
Framing:
Structural and non-structural framing for small-scale projects.
Finish Work:
Precise installation of trim, cabinetry, and hardware. 2. Project Management & Operations Beyond the physical build, you will manage the operational flow of multiple job sites:
Subcontractor Management:
Identifying, vetting, and scheduling subcontractors to ensure seamless project transitions.
Procurement:
Proactively ordering and coordinating the delivery of materials to maintain project timelines.
Regulatory Compliance:
Leveraging a deep knowledge of local building codes to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards.
Workflow Optimization:
Managing the construction sequence to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure efficient job completion.
Qualifications Proven Experience:
A strong background in both residential and commercial construction environments.
Leadership Ability:
Strong communication skills with the authority to manage diverse crews and subcontractors.
Technical Proficiency:
A comprehensive understanding of construction "flow" and the interdependencies of different trades.
Professionalism:
Ability to represent our client and the agency with integrity on every job site.
Pay:
From $25.00 per hour
