• Friday 7 am
• 4:30 pm. Position Summary The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have experience in general labor or industrial environments. This role combines performing labor tasks in a shipyard with real-time interpretation to facilitate communication between English
• and Spanish-speaking workers, ensuring safety and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities Perform general labor tasks including moving materials, cleaning, assisting tradespeople, and supporting production activities. Provide accurate English-Spanish interpretation during daily operations, safety meetings, and training sessions. Communicate safety instructions, hazard alerts, and emergency procedures to non-English-speaking employees. Assist in ensuring all personnel understand operational procedures, work orders, and equipment instructions. Report safety concerns, operational issues, or miscommunications to supervisors promptly. Maintain a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company safety standards. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish with strong oral communication skills in both languages. Experience working in industrial, construction, or shipyard environments preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding labor tasks. Basic literacy and numeracy skills to interpret work orders, labels, and safety signs. Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials (up to 50 lbs regularly). Standing, walking, bending, or crouching for extended periods. Working in a shipyard environment, sometimes in inclement weather.
