Position:

Highway Construction Crew CDL Driver Key Responsibilities:

Drive a commercial vehicle assigned to an asphalt highway construction crew- roughly 25% of job responsibility. Perform a wide variety of other construction-related activities for 75% of job responsibility. Participate in all phases of highway construction. Training in traffic control management. Potential operation of power tools such as jackhammers, earth tampers, and pavement breakers. Potential operation of heavy construction equipment based upon previous experience.

Job Requirements:

Must have a valid Class A or Class B with Pendulum Hitch Endorsement commercial drivers license. Flexible and dependable availability - primarily day work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and nighttime work. Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or other senior crew members. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Prior asphalt experience will be preferred. Prior traffic control experience will be preferred.
