Job Description

Overview Michael S. Coffin LLC is seeking an experienced Mason to join our landscape construction team. We specialize in high-end residential properties throughout New England, working closely with leading landscape architects and design firms to execute complex landscapes with a strong emphasis on craftsmanship and attention to detail. This is a full-time position for a skilled mason who takes pride in their craft, understands proper masonry construction practices, and values doing things the right way. We're looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a crew while contributing to the quality and standards expected across our projects. Responsibilities Perform high-end flat and vertical masonry, along with other natural stone and hardscape installations. Execute masonry work with a high level of craftsmanship and close attention to detail. Apply proper masonry practices, including bonding, drainage and finish details. Cut, shape, and install natural stone and other masonry materials using appropriate hand and power tools. Maintain clean, professional, and organized jobsites. Follow company safety standards and established industry best practices. Qualifications 2-4 years of professional high-end residential stone masonry experience. Strong working knowledge of both flat and vertical masonry construction. Experience working with natural stone and a variety of other masonry materials. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work effectively as part of a construction crew. Valid driver's license required.
