Berkshire County Schedule:

Mon-Fri 7a-3:30p, Temporary thru early

December Salary:

up to \$25/hr

DOE Tasks:

• Clean and prepare sites to eliminate hazards
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers or rakes
• Load, unload or identify materials, machinery or tools, distributing them to the appropriate job sites
• Measure, mark or record opening of distances to layout area where construction work will be performed
• Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, sing saws, hammers, nails or bolts
• Position, join align or seal structural components such as pipes
• Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement or adjustment of machinery equipment or materials
• Prepare trucks and equipment for each day\'s tasks, ensure all necessary tools are stocked on trucks.
• Clean and maintain truck, equipment and machinery
• Assist with pouring, smoothing and setting of asphalt around newly set manholes
• Restore landscaping after dig ups, rake, seed and fence areas.
• Maintain and clean and safe work site

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow instructions and provide full attention to task at hand
• OSHA 10 certificate
• CDL a plus but not a requirement
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass drug test/background check
• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with operating hand tools
• Available for overtime when needed
• Positive attitude and puts safety first.
