This role covers site maintenance, equipment support, and manual labor to keep the yard, equipment, and production areas safe, organized, and running efficiently. This is a hands-on position for someone who takes pride in physical work, pays attention to detail, and wants to be part of a team that values professionalism, safety, and accountability. Key Responsibilities Site Maintenance Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and production area Remove debris, clean around equipment, and maintain clear work areas Assist with housekeeping around crushers, conveyors, and processing equipment Equipment Support Assist operators and mechanics with basic maintenance tasks Perform daily inspections of equipment and report issues promptly Help with greasing, cleaning, and preventative maintenance tasks Manual Labor Perform physical work including shoveling, lifting, sweeping, and material handling Assist with small repairs and upkeep around the facility Support plant setup, relocation, and operational adjustments as needed Safety & Compliance Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Maintain attention to detail when working around heavy equipment Help identify and report safety or maintenance concerns Complete MSHA Part 46 New Miner Training (24 hours) — required before unsupervised work in the production area; WSS schedules and provides this training Qualifications Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physical labor daily Ability to work safely around heavy machinery and equipment Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work Preferred but not required Experience in construction, landscaping, quarry, or industrial environments Basic mechanical aptitude Prior MSHA training or certification What We Value Reliability — showing up ready to work every day Attention to detail — small things matter in our operation Teamwork — helping each other get the job done Accountability — owning your responsibilities
