CPR Full Job Description Summary:
Team leader of 3-6 skilled laborers and general laborers. Assist Supervisor & Operations Manager with daily supervision and direction of crew members to ensure that all assigned construction projects are completed in a safe, timely and quality manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure that all company and safety policies/regulations are enforced at the work site, to include the Employee Handbook, Safety Policy, OSHA and MOSH regulations Provide communication and direction to crew to ensure that all assigned projects are completed in a safe, timely and quality manner Assist and coach all crew team members on how to perform skilled and general laborer tasks in a safe and timely manner Maintain a clean & safe site Operate construction equipment and tools, including skid steers, jackhammers, earth tampers, concrete mixers, saws and electric/pneumatic drills, etc Read and follow Joh Hazard Analysis (JHA), Permit & Blueprint requirements Coordinate with Supervisor & Operations Manager regarding the customer job progress Complete and submit all required documentation to include: Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Daily Reports & Photos, As-Built Redlines, Quality Control Reports, Change Order Requests (COR), Request for Information (RFI), Incident/Accident Report & Time-Cards Submit Incident & Accident Reports Read, install and monitor traffic control plans (TCPs) and traffic control devices Perform safe handling and removal of hazardous materials Survey and maintain vehicles, equipment & tools daily
Qualifications/Skills:
High School Graduate or Equivalent Minimum 7 years of construction laborer experience, 5 years operation of construction equipment and 2 years of crew/task lead experience OSHA 30, Excavating & Trenching, Confined Space, Temporary Traffic Control, Shoring, Hazardous Materials, and CPR & First Aid Working knowledge of OSHA and MOSH safety requirements/regulations Current driver's license/good driving record required, D.O.T. driver certified Ability to prepare/maintain basic paperwork of field/project operation Excellent personnel management skills/experience, customer service skills and problem solving ability. Strong cost control and quality assurance skills/experience Ability to represent company and job professionally at all times and adapt easily to changes in job requirements, work schedules, job completion timelines, etc Area calculation, multiplication/division, percentages, etc Ability to lift/carry minimum 40 lbs., climb (12-ft. ladders), work outdoors in all seasons Ability to work flexible work schedules, including after hours, weekends, and holidays as required to support business needs Ability to respond to emergency work requests 24/7 Must be proficient in English to understand safety instructions and communicate work-related information Spanish-language proficiency is a plus The duties, responsibilities, skills and qualifications listed above are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by an individual assigned to this position.
