In this energetic role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks that keep projects moving forward efficiently and safely. Your hands-on involvement will range from heavy lifting to operating power tools, ensuring each phase of construction is executed with precision. Duties Assist with the installation of rebar, concrete forming, and concrete finishing to ensure structural integrity. Operate power tools and hand tools safely to support framing, roofing, masonry, and other trades. Support heavy equipment operation and concrete pumping activities on-site. Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project requirements. Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, debris removal, and site cleanup. Aid in the installation of flooring, tile laying, stucco, trim carpentry, and plastering projects. Support renovation and restoration efforts by preparing surfaces and assisting with demolition when needed. Skills Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting tools and equipment. Construction estimating skills for understanding project scope and material needs. Experience with rebar installation, metal stud framing, and masonry techniques. Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation. Familiarity with concrete mixer operation, concrete pumping, and concrete finishing processes. Ability to operate power tools such as saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment safely. Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques, heavy equipment operation, and commercial driving regulations. Skills in caulking, caulking application, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, stucco application, and trim carpentry. Understanding of safety protocols related to construction site experience including scaffolding and fall protection measures.
