Full-Time Overview Drill-Tech is seeking HDD Laborers to support horizontal directional drilling crews on underground utility projects in Chester, MD. Headquartered in Chester, Maryland, Drill-Tech performs HDD and underground utility work throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. This is a hands-on field position responsible for assisting HDD crews with daily operations, equipment setup, material handling, and general construction activities. Previous HDD experience is helpful but not required for candidates with a strong construction background. Responsibilities Assist HDD crews with daily field operations Support drilling, reaming, pullback, and pipe installation Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Assist with equipment setup and cleanup Help maintain clean and organized jobsites Perform general labor duties as assigned Follow all company safety policies and procedures Work closely with foremen and equipment operators Qualifications Construction or underground utility experience preferred Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors Valid driver's license Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite Preferred Qualifications Experience in underground utility construction Experience working around HDD equipment OSHA 10 Certification Class A CDL or interest in obtaining one Experience operating small equipment such as skid steers or mini excavators Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Opportunities for advancement within a growing HDD contractorBenefits
