Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Tank Technician/Laborer to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for performing tank cleaning, tank testing, aboveground and underground tank installations, removals and repairs of heating oil, diesel and gasoline tanks, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the tank systems. You will play a crucial role in emergency response situations, restoration projects, and routine maintenance, helping clients maintain or upgrade their heating system. Responsibilities Perform tank cleaning, inspection, and maintenance using appropriate tools and techniques while adhering to safety protocols. Assist with construction type work to remove, install, upgrade , remedition of contaminated soils and testing of underground heating oil tank systems and other emergency response services. Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and materials to job sites. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and other safety gear during all tasks to ensure health and safety compliance. Conduct thorough cleaning of tanks prior to the removal and disposal process. Support construction-related activities related to tank installation or repair projects. Respond promptly to on-call emergencies involving product release, remediation of contaminated soils, no heat calls, by providing exceptional customer service throughout the process. Requirements Prior experience in the construction/ HVAC field is highly preferred but not a requirement, on job training will be offered, as well as any additional certification the technician would like to pursue thats related to this industry, paid for by the employer Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use and respiratory protection standards. Helpful but not an requirement Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, in all types of weather conditions,( extreme heat, cold, sun or rain) such as lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces. Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence and emergency response readiness. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
