Construction Worker (Division 9 Finishes)

Overview:

Here at T.W. Smith & Sons Construction we are a small one owner business looking to grow with dedicated employees. all work is performed in a 1 hour drive time radius from Hagerstown, MD which means no beating down the roads to work everyday, and staying out of the city! We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Construction Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting in various construction activities, such as: Drywall, Metal Framing, Insulation, & Acoustical Ceilings. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including loading and unloading materials and tools. Follow detailed instructions from supervisors and project managers to complete assigned tasks. Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications and ensure accurate execution of work. Operate basic construction tools & scizzor lifts safely and effectively. Perform physical labor such as, lifting, carrying, and material placement as required by the project. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents or injuries on site. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Requirements Prior experience in Division 9 Finishes is mandatory Ability to read blueprints is essential for understanding project plans. Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to perform manual labor Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Reliable transportation

Pay:

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
