Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be actively involved in various phases of construction projects, from site preparation to finishing touches. Your energy and expertise will contribute to building safe, durable, and high-quality structures. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers in compliance with construction workplace safety regulations. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently to perform tasks such as concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and rebar installation. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications. Construct formwork and framework for concrete pouring and other structural elements using carpentry skills like framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and formwork construction. Install masonry components such as bricks or blocks, apply stucco or plastering techniques, and perform restoration or renovation work as needed. Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to construction safety protocols; operate heavy equipment including concrete pumps and forklifts when required. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with a solid understanding of construction site operations. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately for precise execution of tasks. Knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and rebar installation techniques. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and safety regulations specific to the industry. Skills in masonry, roofing, tile laying, flooring installation or related trades are a plus. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in various weather conditions; ability to work safely following all safety protocol guidelines. Valid driver's license for commercial driving if required; experience operating heavy machinery is preferred.
