Job Summary The role of the Construction Crew Leader has specific tasks and goals as outlined below, these goals and tasks will change and/or be refined over time, developing and evolving in a continuous pursuit of improvement. Included specifically as the core tasks of this position are: 1. Assist team and other partners to perform general labor duties. 2. Perform concrete repairs on pools, patios, surface decking, yardscape, etc. 3. Operate Construction Machinery and Power Tools as needed. 4. Perform work as assigned and delegate lower level duties to subordinates. 5. Maintain cleanliness of the job site. 6. Read technical drawings. The Construction Crew Leader reports directly to the Director of Construction. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees. Ability to effectively communicate verbally. Ability to understand and follow instructions given, either verbally or written. Ability to do basic reading, writing, and arithmetic. Ability to operate equipment in safe manner. Ability to operate iPad and Smartphone. Mechanical aptitude Ability to successfully pass drug screen and background check. Education & Experience 1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent 2. Valid Class C driver's license 3.
Clean driving record:
No serious tickets or accidents in last 5 years or DWI/DUI in last 10 years 4. 1-2 years' experience in concrete and forming.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
