    Availability:
    Must be willing and able to work full days, Monday through Friday. However, occasional nights and weekends MIGHT be required .
      Transportation:
      Must have a valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to travel to work sites.
        Testing:
        Successful completion of pre-employment testing and survey is required.
          Safety Record:
          An excellent safety record is required. Job Details & Pay We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Construction Yard Operator/Laborer to support daily yard operations and assist with the erection, dismantling, and mobilization of heavy cranes to project sites. This hands-on role involves operating yard equipment, organizing materials and components, performing general labor, and working as part of a crew to safely assemble and disassemble hydraulic, crawler, and other heavy lift cranes. The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety in both yard and field environments.
            Pay:
            Starting wage is between $24 - $26 per hour , based on experience.
            Key Responsibilities & Skills:
            Yard Operations Organize, stage, inventory, and maintain cranes, attachments, rigging gear, tools, and construction materials in the yard. Operate yard equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and yard cranes to load, unload, move, and stage equipment and components. Perform daily inspections, cleaning, minor maintenance, and reporting of equipment defects or needed repairs. Assist with receiving deliveries, checking inventory, barcoding or labeling components, and securing loads for transport in accordance with DOT and company requirements. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe yard environment, including housekeeping, grading unpaved areas as needed, and general facility upkeep. Support mechanics, operators, drivers, and other team members with equipment preparation and mobilization tasks. Crane Erection, Dismantling & Mobilization Support Assist the assembly/disassembly (A/D) crew with erecting and taking down heavy cranes (hydraulic, crawler, and related configurations) under supervision. Handle and install/remove pins, fasteners, counterweights, boom sections, outriggers, and other crane components using hand and power tools. Perform rigging tasks, including attaching loads with slings, chains, shackles, and other gear; act as signal person/spotter when required. Help stage components, prepare equipment for transport, and support loading/unloading for mobilization to and from project sites. Follow manufacturer procedures, lift plans, and company method statements during all assembly, disassembly, and reconfiguration activities. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to job sites as needed (overnight travel may be required with company-provided accommodations and per diem). Qualifications & Requirements Entry-level candidates with strong work ethic and willingness to learn will be considered. Ability to safely operate forklifts and other yard equipment (certification preferred or willingness to obtain). Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail, dependability, and ability to follow directions precisely. Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools preferred.
