In this energetic role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks on diverse construction projects. Your hands-on work will help build, restore, and enhance structures, ensuring safety and quality at every step. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to exciting building initiatives. Duties Assist with the installation of concrete forms, rebar, and other structural components according to detailed blueprints and technical drawings. Operate power tools, hand tools, and concrete mixers safely to perform tasks such as concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and stucco application. Support heavy lifting activities and material transportation across the construction site to maintain workflow efficiency. Prepare construction sites by setting up formwork, scaffolding, and safety barriers in compliance with workplace safety regulations. Perform masonry work, tile laying, flooring installation, and roofing tasks as directed by supervisors. Follow safety protocols diligently during all activities, including rebar installation, concrete pumping, caulking, plastering, and metal stud framing. Interpret construction plans and blueprints accurately to ensure all work aligns with project specifications. Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects or in a related trade environment is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous for understanding project scope and materials. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans with precision. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and the ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols at all times. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and equipment used in concrete forming, cutting, finishing, and pumping. Physical capability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and performing strenuous tasks. Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques such as masonry, restoration work, or metal stud framing.
