Construction Laborer

SE Agricultural & Commercial Solutions (formally Sikkema Equipment) specializes in agricultural construction throughout the state of Michigan as well as parts of Ohio and Indiana. We are looking to add a full-time team member to our Construction Crew! Carpentry experience is preferred, as well as experience erecting both conventional and pre-engineered steel buildings!

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

Willingness to learn and develop skills on a regular basis Willingness to take direction from the project manager Must be punctual Clean driving record and valid driver's license

JOB SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS

Must be familiar with all general construction hand tools and power tools Must be able to read a tape measure accurately Must be able to read blueprints Carpentry/Framing experience (2+ years) Steel Erecting experience (1+ years) Construction experience (2+ years) Welding experience (.5+ years) Hard worker Ability to lift 75+ lbs Available to work out of town for up to a week at a time (Always back by Friday evening) Capable of working outdoors in a variety of temperatures Willingness to work around large groups of livestock such as cattle Must be able to work out of lifts or on ladders and occasionally extreme heights.(Boom Lift, SkyTrak, Forklift) Maintain proper workplace safety and follow OSHA guidelines Chauffeur's License, or willing to obtain within the first 30 days Benefits Health insurance Dental and vision insurance Life insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) Retirement plan Paid time off
