In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures by performing a variety of physical tasks on construction sites. Your energy, attention to safety, and willingness to learn will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial developments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently Support skilled tradespeople by handling tasks like rebar installation, concrete pouring, and formwork construction Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps under supervision Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of work Help with the installation of various building components including drywall, flooring, tile, stucco, roofing, and metal stud framing Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects or related fields is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to interpret blueprint specifications and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and performing physically demanding tasks Experience with masonry, concrete finishing, plastering, caulking, restoration work or renovation projects is a plus Strong teamwork skills with excellent communication abilities to coordinate effectively with team members Valid safety training certifications or willingness to obtain them upon hiring Join us in building quality structures while advancing your career in the construction industry! Pay:
$25.02 - $30.13 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 - 38.0 per week
