Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! As a Construction Laborer, you will perform essential tasks that support skilled tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of construction projects. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including material staging and site cleanliness Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete as per project specifications Install rebar reinforcement and construct formwork for concrete structures following blueprints and technical drawings Interpret construction plans and blueprints to ensure accurate execution of tasks like masonry, framing, roofing, and stucco application Carry out heavy lifting of materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, lumber, and metal studs while adhering to safety protocols Support specialized trades including carpentry, masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, plastering, caulking, and metal stud framing Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating processes are advantageous Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumps, saws, drills, and other equipment used in construction work Physical ability to perform demanding tasks involving heavy lifting, standing for long periods, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working in various weather conditions Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new techniques and supporting team members Embark on a rewarding career where your hands-on skills help build lasting structures!
