Construction Laborer Job Description We are seeking dedicated construction laborers who are ready to engage in manual labor tasks primarily focused on commercial flatwork construction, including parking lots and floors. This role involves extensive outdoor work including cleanup, lifting, tool handling, and raking. Projects range from $2,500 to $10 million, requiring travel to various sites located 30-45 minutes from Mt Clemens, with occasional distances up to an hour. Responsibilities Perform manual labor tasks such as cleanup, lifting, and tool management. Engage in flatwork construction for commercial projects including parking lots and floors. Travel to various construction sites within a 30-45 minute radius from Mt Clemens, with occasional travel up to an hour away. Work extensive hours, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM with 10 to 12-hour shifts and half days on Saturdays. Essential Skills 1+ years of construction labor experience with a focus on manual and physical tasks. Proficient use of construction tools such as float, mixer, screed, edger, trowel, wedge bolt, 4' level, 2' level, 100' tape measure, and bolt cutters. Additional Skills & Qualifications Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Experience as a foreman or lead in construction projects. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work primarily takes place on commercial construction properties within a one-hour radius of Mt Clemens. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
