Painter/ Wallpaper Installer

Job Overview We are seeking an experience and detail-oriented Wallpaper Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for expertly installing wallpaper in residential, commercial, and specialty spaces, transforming interiors with precision and craftsmanship. Your expertise will contribute to creating visually stunning environments that meet client specifications and uphold our high standards of quality. This is a temporary position until job completetion. Duties Prepare walls and surfaces by cleaning, patching, sanding, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion of wallpaper. Measure spaces accurately and cut wallpaper to the correct lengths, matching patterns seamlessly across walls and ceilings. Install wallpaper using appropriate tools such as brushes, rollers, seam rollers, and specialty knives, ensuring smooth application without bubbles or wrinkles. Use power tools and hand tools to secure wallpaper edges, trim excess material, and make precise adjustments during installation. Collaborate with project managers, interior designers, and clients to interpret blueprints, schematics, and design plans for accurate execution. Perform quality inspections throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship. Complete project documentation including work logs, inspection reports, and safety checklists while adhering to construction site protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in wallpaper installation Experience working with a variety of materials including fabric-backed wallpapers, vinyls, murals, and specialty wall coverings. Ability to operate hand tools (e.g., knives, scissors), power tools (e.g., drills), heavy equipment (if applicable), and scaffolding safely. Physical stamina for standing for extended periods and working at heights or on ladders; ability to lift heavy materials safely. Must have scissor lift experience Experience in commercial construction and custom homes

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 45.0 per week
