In this vital role, you will be instrumental in installing, maintaining, and repairing fiber optic networks and telecommunication infrastructure both above ground and underground. Your hands-on skills will help ensure seamless connectivity for our customers while supporting the growth of our innovative network systems. Starting at $21/hour for entry-level candidates. Higher starting pay available based on experience, skills, certifications, and industry background. Responsibilities Assist with the installation and maintenance of aerial and underground fiber optic cables using hand tools and power tools Operate heavy equipment such as bucket trucks, trenchers, directional drilling and other construction machinery safely and efficiently Climb poles or ladders to access elevated work sites while adhering to safety protocols when a truck will not reach. Install underground duct systems Locate underground facilities with a hydro vac or hand excavation. Experience Prior experience in field service or construction environments involving telecommunication or electrical work preferred Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment like bucket trucks and power tools safely Ability to climb poles or ladders comfortably and work at heights safely Strong teamwork ethic with a proactive approach to safety standards and quality workmanship Join us to be part of a forward-thinking company committed to building reliable networks that empower communities.
