A Construction Helper or Worker works at construction sites and projects. Works as a skilled trades worker such as bricklayer, carpenter, painter, electrician or mason, or operates construction equipment.

What You'll Be Doing You'll be part of a tight‑knit crew helping build and repair decks and siding on residential and commercial projects. Expect hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and plenty of time outdoors.
Your day-to-day includes:
Measuring, cutting, and installing materials Using hand and power tools (the fun stuff) Following plans, blueprints, and Crew Lead instructions Keeping the jobsite clean, safe, and organized Loading/unloading materials Communicating with your team — and sometimes homeowners Completing daily reports Showing up ready to work and ready to grow What Makes You a Great Fit We're looking for someone who: Works well with a team and keeps morale high Takes pride in quality and accuracy Stays productive and keeps projects moving Follows safety rules and respects PPE Adapts when things change (because they will) Shows up on time — every time Owns their work and their attitude What You Bring 2+ years of construction experience, SIDING
OR DECKING
(REQUIRED) Experience with hand and power tools (REQUIRED) Ability to read blueprints or follow written/oral instructions Valid driver's license + reliable transportation Ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and handle outdoor conditions Willingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities Work Environment Mostly outdoors Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:30 PM - summer/winter hours may vary Occasional extended hours or weekends when needed Fast‑paced, team‑oriented, and quality‑driven Why Hutcherson Construction?
