Job Description

Williams Distributing is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing Hearth team as a Construction Laborer / Field Installer . No fireplace or construction experience is required — we will train you. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, wants to learn a skilled trade, and is looking for steady, year-round employment with opportunities to grow. As a Field Installer, you will receive hands-on training to install manufactured fireplaces and venting systems in newly constructed homes while working alongside an experienced team committed to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Learn to install manufactured fireplaces, venting systems, and related products in new construction homes Learn to service and troubleshoot manufactured fireplaces through hands-on training Safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, lifts, scaffolding, harnesses, and other equipment Access work areas including roofs, attic spaces, chases, and other elevated locations as required Learn to read and follow installation manuals, building codes, and manufacturer specifications Drive a company vehicle between multiple local job sites throughout the workday Use a smartphone or tablet for scheduling, time tracking, and job information Communicate professionally with builders, customers, and team members Complete installations according to established procedures and manager direction Participate in cross-training opportunities involving additional Hearth products and installation services Follow Company policies, safety standards, standard operating procedures, and established work processes Perform additional duties as assigned No prior fireplace, HVAC, construction, or installation experience is required. We provide the training you need to be successful. We're looking for someone who: Enjoys hands-on, physical work Is interested in learning a skilled trade Is dependable and willing to learn Is comfortable working indoors and outdoors at active construction sites Is comfortable working at heights, including roof access Can lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds Is willing to learn to safely use hand tools and power tools Can use a smartphone or tablet for basic scheduling and job information Is safety-focused and works well as part of a team Has a valid driver's license and is able to be insured under the Company's insurance policy Is legally authorized to work in the United States and does not require sponsorship now or in the future Full-time Typical schedule is Monday through Friday Local travel between multiple job sites throughout the workday Competitive pay Paid, hands-on training — no experience required Opportunity to learn a skilled trade Steady, year-round work Cross-training in additional Hearth products and services Company vehicle for work travel Opportunities for continued growth and advancement within Williams Distributing You don't need previous fireplace installation experience to get started.
