Duties Assist with site preparation, including erosion control measures and setting up safety barriers to protect the work area. Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials and equipment safely and efficiently. Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to support project execution. Operate power tools and basic equipment for tasks like cutting, drilling, or assembling components under supervision. Support the implementation of OSHA safety standards by maintaining a safe work environment, including wearing respiratory protection and climbing safely when required. Conduct routine equipment repairs or maintenance to ensure tools and machinery are in optimal condition. Follow all workplace safety regulations diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory masks and harnesses. Skills Ability to read blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings with clarity. Strong understanding of erosion control techniques and environmental safety practices on construction sites. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, power tools, and industrial machinery operation. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards implementation. Physical strength for heavy lifting, climbing, manual handling, and working in various weather conditions. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings to assist with project tasks accurately.
