No Sundays Shift Premium Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

Inspects castings for the following as required on work instructions External defects/scrap chute Excessive core fin or flash Bum-in sand removal High ingate removal Operates all grinders in a safe manner by inspecting grinder for proper adjustment, cracks or chips in the wheel and overall working condition. The casting inspector will report any problems to the supervisor. After inspection, removes excess metal from castings, following directions from work instructions. Places finished parts in designated shipping containers (W-9029) for shipment as specified by work instructions. Places appropriate "OK to Ship" tag on the container and writes clock number, part number and date on the tag (W-9029) Will accept other jobs in the finishing department, as needed. Maintains a clean and orderly work area
