Job Description
Job Overview Shoreside Craftsman and Goliath Tech are looking for a reliable full-time team member to assist with residential construction projects and helical pile installations throughout Southwest Michigan. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working outdoors, and being part of a growing construction business. Work may include decks, remodeling, additions, outdoor living projects, and specialty foundation installations. Some projects require a longer daily commute, so reliable transportation is required . Prior construction experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who shows up on time, works hard, and has a good attitude.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with deck building, remodeling, additions, and outdoor construction projects Help with helical pile installations and foundation-related work Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment Assist with jobsite setup, cleanup, and daily preparation Help with demolition, basic carpentry tasks, and general labor Work safely around construction equipment and installation machinery Follow direction from the project lead or crew leader Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite Show up on time and be ready to work each day Travel to job sites throughout Southwest Michigan and surrounding areas Ideal credentials and qualities: Reliable, honest, and hardworking Must have reliable transportation Valid driver's license Willing to travel to different job sites, including projects with longer daily commutes Comfortable working outdoors in different weather conditions Able to lift materials and perform physical labor Basic construction or carpentry experience is a plus Equipment experience is a plus, but not required Willing to learn and take direction Good communication skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Interest in growing with the company over time This is a full-time position with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction, carpentry, foundation work, and specialty installation services. $20.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per weekBenefits:
