Job Description

Waste Recovery Systems is looking to add a full time General Laborer to our team. This candidate will be continuously learning each day and is given the opportunity to excel within the company. A positive attitude and strong and safe work ethic are essential. A chauffeur's license and clean driving record is required for this position. Emergency jobs during non-regular work hours will be on a rotational basis. Full time benefit eligible.

Health Insurance, Dental insurance, Life insurance, Short Term Disability insurance, Long Term Disability insurance, AD & D insurance, Paid Time Off, Cell phone reimbursement, Boot reimbursement, Clothing stipend, 401(k) with up to 4% employer match Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate a variety of tools and equipment Ensure proper personal protective equipment is worn while performing work Perform proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner Prepare job sites as directed Maintain comprehensive service documentation Provide assistance to operators, team members, contractors and customers as needed Clean and clear debris and hazards Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly Requirements, Qualifications and Skills Valid MI Chauffer's License - Required Clean, insurable driving record for the last 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report) Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds Ability to perform occasionally in small and confined spaces Ability to work overtime Must be reliable and punctual Maintain a positive attitude and willingness to learn Troubleshoot problems that arise Take part in on-call emergency rotation; required 1 week per month Prior experience in construction, environmental, and/or excavating preferred Ability to maintain service documentation daily Ability to apply common sense understanding Ability to carry out written and oral instructions Good oral and written communication skills Use an objective approach toward decision making Ability to maintain a good relationship between the company and customer
