Carpentry Laborer Bemidji, MN Job Overview:

We are hiring a motivated and dependable General Construction Carpentry Laborer for a client in Bemidji, MN. This is a hands-on role that supports the carpentry team and other skilled trades professionals in various construction tasks. The pay rate ranges from $20-$30 per hour, depending on carpentry experience and skills. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining an organized and efficient construction site while adhering to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare construction sites by organizing materials, tools, and equipment. Assist in the construction, dismantling, or repair of scaffolding, bracing, and temporary structures. Distribute and organize construction materials as directed by supervisors and project managers. Operate pneumatic hammers, drills, and other power tools, ensuring safety and proper handling. Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment at job sites. Follow instructions and orders from construction project managers, supervisors, and skilled carpenters. Ensure the construction site is free from hazardous items, garbage, and debris, maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Assist carpenters, electricians, and other craft professionals as needed with various tasks on site. Adhere to all safety and health protocols and regulations throughout the job. Perform general labor duties, including lifting materials up to 50 lbs. as required for the project.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience in construction or carpentry is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks. Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality are essential. Valid driver's license is required. Must have reliable transportation to job sites in Bemidji, MN. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Understanding of safety guidelines and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Pay Range:

$20-$30 per hour (depending on carpentry experience) Monday-Friday, 30-40 Hrs./Wk.

$20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
