Job Description
Life Time Property Development, Construction, is the innovative and vertically integrated in-house Construction Division. We construct new buildings and remodel existing facilities to deliver luxury health and fitness destinations across the continental United States and in various parts of Canada. Projects are mainly large scale and complex, varying in size, scope, and value including, health and fitness clubs, co-working spaces, multi-family housing, and mixed-use developments. Position Summary Life Time Construction is the in-house General Contractor building new and existing luxury fitness clubs from coast to coast and in Canada. Project sizes range from 40,000 sq. ft. to 220,000 sq. ft., including precast structures and high-end finishes. Life Time has its own millwork and casework production facility located in Chaska, MN, which supports the production of all new, remodel, and misc. millwork for our corporation. The Millwork Laborer helps to support the Millwork Division by assisting others in the department and maintaining the highest level quality control. In addition, the Millwork Laborer will uphold the fulfillment of Life Time's Mission Statement. Job Duties/Responsibilities General cabinetry and warehouse duties (i.e. cleaning, loading and stocking supplies) Assist cabinet makers with assigned tasks Assist millwork finishers with finishing products as they come through spray line Minimum Required Qualifications Ability to multi-task and learn quickly Excellent oral and communication skills Ability to effectively multi-task with tight deadlines independently and within a team environment Knowledge of millwork machinery Work is performed in a millwork shop setting. This position is required to regularly: Stand, walk, and sit Talk or hear Use hands Lift up to 100 pounds Stoop, kneel, crouch and/or crawl Reach with hands and arms View objects up close and at a distance Effectively communicate and interact with others
