Part-Time Remodeling Laborer/ Construction Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Part-Time Remodeling Laborer / Construction Assistant to support our remodeling projects. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in residential construction while assisting with project coordination, job site organization, and light labor tasks. This position will work closely with the Project Manager to help keep projects organized, on schedule, and running efficiently. Responsibilities Project Support Assist Project Manager with daily job site coordination Help maintain project schedules and task lists Communicate with subcontractors as directed Pick up materials and deliver to job sites Assist with punch list items and project closeouts Help document project progress with photos Job Site Labor Light demolition and cleanup Material handling and organization Job site setup and protection (floor covering, dust barriers, etc.) Basic carpentry assistance (trim, hardware, small repairs) Maintain clean and safe job sites Administrative / Coordination Support Assist with inventory and material tracking Help coordinate deliveries Organize tools and equipment Support quality control walkthroughs Company vehicle provided for job-related use during work hours Qualifications Ability to lift 50 lbs Basic construction knowledge preferred but not required Strong organizational skills Good communication skills Ability to work independently and follow directions Positive attitude and willingness to learn Must be dependable and punctual Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required) Reliable personal vehicle required Preferred (but not required) Construction or remodeling experience Studying construction management, engineering, or trades Basic tool knowledge Experience working on job sites Compensation Hourly pay based on experience: $20-$28/hour Flexible schedule Hands-on construction and project management experience Opportunity for future part-time or full-time role Destiny Homes is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
