Fabricator Laborer are responsible for all assigned work in the fabrication shop. Missouri Fabricators is a division of OCCI, Inc. a growing company with over 30-years of experience in heavy civil construction. This person must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be adaptable to change.
Essential Duties:
Perform fabrication work in accordance with customer contract requirements and specifications. Willingness to work in welding, cutting or paint department. Training is available. Keep track of daily sessions per job by entering allocation of time, consumables and department status. Keep work area clean and organized. Perform work in accordance with Company's safety practices and procedures Material Handling Grinding Operate heavy machinery. Operate overhead cranes and perform safe and efficient lifts of materials. Be a team player. Opportunity to learn and advance into department specific roles such as basic welding, cutting using CNC machines, sandblasting, and painting. Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Fabrication experience a plus. Ability to read measurements. Ability to learn and adapt quickly. Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb and crawl over and under fabricated materials. Work extensive hours in a non-climate environment. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to pass
