This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is willing to travel, and isn't afraid of physical work . Job Duties Work will vary depending on the project and may include: Shovel work and general excavation Weed eating and vegetation clearing Chainsaw and brush-clearing work Sandblasting, power washing, and surface preparation Painting General construction Loading, unloading, and moving tools and materials Jobsite setup and cleanup Assisting equipment operators, foremen, and other crew members Other general labor duties as assigned Job Requirements Applicants must: Be able to lift and carry at least 40 lbs. Be able to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday Be willing and able to travel for out-of-town projects Be able to work outdoors in heat, cold, wind, rain, and snow Be comfortable working around construction equipment and active jobsites Be dependable and report to work on time Be willing to learn new skills and follow directions Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements Work well as part of a crew Have a valid driver's license Must be able to pass Pre Employment drug Screen and random test Work Environment This is not an indoor or climate-controlled position. Our crews work outdoors year-round, and projects may involve mud, dust, dirt, uneven terrain, and changing weather conditions. Travel is a regular part of this position. Applicants should be comfortable working away from home when projects require it.
