General Contractor Laborer

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable General Contractor Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various phases of construction projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on-site. Duties Assist with the setup and cleanup of construction sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment Support skilled tradespeople by handling materials, tools, and equipment needed for various tasks Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision Help with framing, drywall installation, roofing, paintin, flooring, demo concrete finishing, and masonry work as directed Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements and assist with layout tasks Perform demolition, site preparation, and restoration activities as required Support heavy equipment operation and material fabrication processes when trained Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members Skills Familiarity with construction management principles and construction estimating processes Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Knowledge of various trades including carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and drywall installation Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively Basic understanding of construction inspection standards and quality control measures Skills in concrete forming, finishing, tile laying, plastering, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, glass installation, cabinet installation, door hanging, flooring installation, welding, welding certification preferred Experience with restoration projects and hardscape or landscape work is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors Willingness to learn new skills such as Bluebeam software for digital project documentation Join us in building exceptional structures while advancing your career in construction!
