Duties Assist with the installation and assembly of fences using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to ensure secure and durable structures. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute fencing layouts. Handle building materials such as wood, metal, concrete, and landscape components with care and efficiency. Perform heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to all safety protocols to prevent injuries on-site. Operate power tools safely and effectively, including drills, saws, welding machines, and concrete finishing tools. Support the construction of concrete forms and masonry elements necessary for fence posts or landscape features. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while complying with all safety standards during outdoor work activities. Skills Strong carpentry skills with experience in frame carpentry and building material installation. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and concrete finishing techniques. Knowledge of fence construction projects from start to finish including post setting, panel installation, and gate fitting. Experience in interpreting technical drawings related to masonry, hardscape design, or landscape maintenance is a plus. Excellent physical stamina for outdoor work involving heavy lifting, assembly, and long hours on-site. Commitment to safety protocol adherence with knowledge of power tool safety standards and construction site safety practices.
