Job Description

General Laborer - Excavation A locally owned and operated excavation company serving the Flathead Valley and surrounding areas is hiring a General Laborer. This company has a strong reputation for quality work, reliability, and integrity, specializing in residential and commercial site development. This team provides a range of services including earthwork, utility installation, grading, and road preparation. With a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, they offer a supportive, hands-on work environment where employees are valued, and hard work is recognized. We're looking for a dependable and hardworking General Laborer to support our excavation crew with a variety of field tasks. This hands-on role involves digging, site cleanup, material handling, and assisting equipment operators. The ideal candidate is punctual, eager to learn, and able to work safely and effectively in physically demanding outdoor conditions.
Starting Pay:
$20 to $25/hour, depending on experience
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through
Friday Essential Functions and Duties:
Support equipment operators, including assisting with on-site water and rock truck operations Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up work areas Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials Perform general labor tasks such as digging trenches, shoveling, and leveling ground Safely operate hand tools and small equipment (training provided as needed) Maintain a clean, organized job site while following all safety procedures
Qualifications:
Prior construction or excavation experience preferred Willingness to learn and follow instructions Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting, bending, digging) in various weather conditions Get in touch!
