Quality Comfort Heating & Cooling is hiring a fireplace installer. You'll be working inside people's houses — often finished rooms — setting fireplaces, running vent, and finishing the work so it looks right when you leave. PAY

• $20.00 per hour to start
• $25.00 per hour after your first two weeks
• Further increases based on how you work, not how long you've been here

SCHEDULE

Monday through Friday, day shift.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Install gas and wood fireplaces in customers' homes
• Run and terminate venting
• Handle the finish work — trim, surround, clean-up — so the room looks better than when you got there
• Load, unload, and move units that are heavy and awkward
• Work alongside the crew and follow the install lead's direction
• Protect floors, walls, and furniture on every job

WHAT YOU NEED

• Valid driver's license
• Construction or trades experience
• Able to lift heavy material and work on your feet all day
• Careful in a customer's home. This is finish work in finished rooms, and the difference between a good installer and a bad one is what the room looks like afterward
• Show up on time, every day

WHAT SETS A CANDIDATE APART

• Fireplace, HVAC, gas piping, or venting experience
• Carpentry or finish trim background
• Our install crews communicate in Ukrainian and Russian on site, so the ability to understand them is a strong plus
• NC gas or mechanical experience
