This position is responsible for operating a company service truck, servicing customer job sites, filling water tanks, maintaining portable sanitation equipment, and assisting with repairs, cleaning, and general yard operations. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-minded, comfortable working outdoors, and able to work independently while providing professional service to customers, contractors, and job-site personnel. Basic mechanical skills and a willingness to learn are important for success in this position. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Drive a company service truck to customer job sites throughout the day to fill and service water tanks. Safely operate pumps, hoses, fittings, hand tools, and other service equipment. Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and light repairs on portable toilets and related equipment. Replace or repair portable toilet components, including water pumps, toilet seats, toilet paper holders, door hardware, vents, hoses, fittings, and other parts. Inspect portable toilets and service equipment to identify maintenance, repair, or replacement needs. Communicate customer concerns, equipment problems, and repair needs to the supervisor in a timely manner. Provide courteous and professional customer service at all job sites. Keep the service truck clean, organized, properly stocked, and safe. Complete required daily vehicle inspections and report any vehicle or equipment concerns immediately. Assist with cleaning, washing, repairing, staging, and preparing portable toilets and equipment at the company yard. Perform general yard maintenance and housekeeping to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with portable toilet deliveries, servicing, special projects, and other daily operational needs. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements. Properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE). Practice safe driving and job-site procedures, including proper backing, vehicle positioning, lifting, and equipment handling. Maintain a clean, professional appearance and positive attitude while representing Forever Clean Portable Toilets. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications Valid driver's license and a safe driving record. Previous experience driving a service, delivery, water, sanitation, or similar truck is preferred. Previous mechanical, maintenance, or repair experience is a plus. Ability to safely operate pumps, hoses, hand tools, and service equipment. Basic ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform minor repairs. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. Good communication and customer-service skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions. Willingness to perform physically demanding work as needed. Physical Requirements This position is physically active and requires the ability to: Sit and drive for extended periods throughout the workday. Frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb. Safely handle hoses, pumps, tools, and portable sanitation equipment. Lift, carry, push, and pull equipment, supplies, and materials as required. Work in outdoor, wet, dirty, and physically demanding conditions. Safely perform job duties at a variety of customer and construction job sites.
