Skilled Laborer Carolina Civil Work's Inc. is searching for a Skilled Laborer to work in a fast-paced, dynamic operation conducting installation and corrective repairs at Water/Wastewater pump stations/treatment plants. The employee in this role performs skilled work in the general repair, construction, and maintenance of Water/Wastewater systems. Carolina Civil Works Inc. is willing to train and desires employees that want to excel and earn more responsibilities. Skilled Laborer Role/Responsibility:
Performs responsible skilled and technical work in the maintenance, repair and replacement of machinery and equipment in water and/or wastewater pump stations/treatment plants and storage tanks. Hands on experience with equipment installation such as, clarifiers, diffused aeration, submersible pumps, vertical turbine pumps, sluice & slide gates, UV disinfection, grit removal equipment, and chemical feed equipment is preferred but no required. Experience bolting of flanged ductile iron piping, heavy equipment operation is desired. Ability to read and understand blueprints is desired but not a requirement. Must be drug free. OSHA trained in trenching/excavation/confined space. We will provide training if proof of training is not available. Competitive compensation based on skill level.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a valid driver's license with a reliable form of transportation. 1-2 years of applicable experience Requires drug testing and background check (which may include criminal check) prior to employment.
