Job Overview International Tie Disposal is looking for a reliable and hardworking Tie Plate Removal Laborer to join our team in Hamlet, NC. This is a physically demanding outdoor position involving the removal of tie plates from railroad ties. The job requires the repeated use of a 35-pound power drill throughout the workday, along with lifting, handling, and moving materials. This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, comfortable working outdoors, and able to perform physical labor throughout the workday. Responsibilities Remove tie plates from railroad ties using a 35-pound power drill Operate power tools safely and efficiently Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday Follow company procedures and instructions Work outdoors in varying weather conditions Work effectively as part of a team Meet daily production goals Assist with other railroad tie processing duties as needed Qualifications & Requirements No previous railroad or tie plate experience required General labor, construction, manufacturing, logging, or outdoor work experience is a plus Ability to repeatedly operate and handle a 35-pound power drill Ability to perform physically demanding work for an extended period Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as needed Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Reliable and dependable Good attendance and willingness to work Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Must be able to wear required PPE Must pass a pre-employment background check Must pass a pre-employment drug screeningThis is a full-time, outdoor labor position with opportunities for reliable employees who are willing to work hard and learn the job. Monday-Friday-8 hour, 1st shift Come join the International Tie Disposal team! Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
