Hourly Discover a more connected career At ​Lambert's Cable, as a Laborer Power Underground , you'll support underground construction projects by assisting crews with excavation, installation, and restoration tasks to ensure job safety and efficiency. What you'll do Assist crews in digging trenches and laying underground utilities Operate basic hand and power tools safely Follow verbal and written instructions from crew leaders Maintain clean and safe job sites Backfill excavated areas and restore work zones Transport tools, materials, and equipment to and from job sites Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Report hazards or equipment issues promptly What you'll need To be 18 years of age or older Authorization to work in the United States for this company High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability to pass pre-employment screenings (if applicable) Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely:
Complete and maintain training, lift between 26 and 55 pounds, bend or stoop repetitively, perform repetitive or fine hand movements, stand, walk, work in confined spaces, operate vehicles
Occasionally:
