Job Description

One mission We are looking for a Construction Crew Leader to join our team The work you do on our Streets Maintenance team directly impacts the safety and accessibility of our community every day. From repairing potholes and damaged pavement to maintaining sidewalks, curbs, and public rights-of-way, you'll help ensure residents, businesses, and visitors can travel safely throughout the city. As part of our team, you'll work alongside experienced professionals who take pride in serving the community and supporting one another. We offer hands-on training, mentorship, CDL development opportunities, and clear career pathways that allow employees to grow from entry-level positions into Equipment Operator and leadership roles. The purpose of this position is to serve as a leader to construction/street crews. This is done by planning work methods and procedures after assignments are given. These tasks include work site setup, work zone safety, traffic control, hazard observation, following procedures and guidelines, employee supervision, assisting with work, etc. Other duties include training subordinates, operating light, medium and heavy equipment and performing preventive maintenance. This is a physically active, outdoor career for individuals who enjoy meaningful work, working as part of a team, and seeing the results of their efforts throughout the community.
