In this vital role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in executing various construction tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency on-site. Your hands-on contributions will support the creation of durable structures, from residential renovations to commercial developments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including moving materials and tools Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components Support concrete work by mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting concrete as per project specifications Install rebar and metal studs according to blueprints and technical drawings to reinforce structures Help build formwork and scaffolding for concrete pouring and other structural elements Interpret construction plans and blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, working at heights, handling hazardous materials, and operating machinery Qualifications Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, cutting, and pumping techniques Experience with masonry, stucco, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, or heavy lifting is a plus Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools Strong work ethic with the ability to interpret technical specifications and follow detailed instructions Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, stand for extended periods, climb ladders/scaffolding, and work in various weather conditions Join us in building something great!
