This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with heavy machinery, assist in asphalt paving, and site preparation. As a Milling Laborer, you'll contribute to high-quality civil infrastructure projects by supporting the operation and maintenance of construction equipment while adhering to safety standards. Your hands-on skills and enthusiasm will help ensure project success from start to finish. Duties Assist with the operation and maintenance of construction machinery such as loaders, excavators, and dump trucks to ensure smooth workflow. Support paving operations by preparing surfaces, setting screeds, and performing tasks to achieve precise results. Conduct safety checks on equipment and ensure compliance with all safety regulations on-site. Drive commercial trucks for transporting materials or equipment between sites, maintaining proper licensing and safety procedures. Support site cleanup, material handling, and logistical coordination to keep projects on schedule. Collaborate with team members on construction site activities, ensuring quality standards are met while maintaining a safe work environment. Experience Proven experience working on construction sites within civil infrastructure projects or similar environments. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation including excavators, loaders, screeds, and concrete mixers. Knowledge of construction machinery maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or experience operating commercial vehicles such as dump trucks or flatbeds preferred. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction site protocols.
