Job Description

SERVICE TECHNICIAN - MECHANICAL / TECHNICAL
Pracht Irrigation
LLC FULL-TIME
| $18-$35/HOUR Pay based on experience, ability, and skill level
NO IRRIGATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
We're looking for mechanically and technically minded people who like to FIX things, figure things out, and work with their hands. You don't need an irrigation background.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems Repair and replace parts and components on center pivot irrigation systems Diagnose equipment failures and determine the best repair Perform preventative maintenance and inspections Install replacement parts, new equipment, and system upgrades Use hand tools, power tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment Work from a service truck at customer locations Help with irrigation system installations and larger repair projects Learn new systems and take on more responsibility as your skills grow

EXPERIENCE THAT TRANSFERS WELL
Experience is helpful — but it doesn't have to be irrigation experience. We'd like to hear from people with experience or interests in: Automotive or diesel repair Farm equipment Electrical work Welding and fabrication Construction HVAC Plumbing and pumps Industrial maintenance Small engines Machinery and equipment repair
Welding PAY:
$18-$35/HOUR Starting pay depends on your experience, mechanical ability, technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and how much training you need. There is room to grow as your skills and responsibilities increase.
Pay:
$18.00 - $35.00 per hour
