In this role, you will be an essential contributor to various building projects, assisting skilled tradespeople in executing tasks efficiently and safely. Your hands-on involvement will help bring construction plans to life, ensuring projects are completed on time and to high standards. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and effectively. Support the installation of rebar, formwork, and concrete pouring to ensure structural integrity. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to accurately execute tasks. Perform tasks related to masonry, framing, carpentry, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, and trim carpentry as needed. Conduct demolition, renovation work, restoration projects, and site cleanup while adhering strictly to safety regulations. Assist with concrete cutting, finishing, pouring, and concrete pumping; support masonry and heavy lifting activities. Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site. Requirements Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of various trades such as carpentry, masonry, or concrete work. Mechanical knowledge related to operating tools like concrete mixers, power tools, hand tools, and equipment such as rebar benders or concrete cutters. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately for proper execution of tasks. Familiarity with construction estimating processes is a plus but not required. Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and protocol adherence at all times. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in demanding outdoor environments for extended periods. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills on the job.
