In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various phases of construction projects, from groundwork to finishing touches. Your hands-on skills and safety awareness will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your construction expertise while contributing to impactful building projects. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites, including material handling and site organization. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as framing, formwork construction, concrete mixing, and finishing. Support the installation of rebar, concrete pouring, cutting, and finishing to ensure structural integrity. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, stucco application, and renovation work. Follow all safety protocols and construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for all team members. Assist with specialized tasks such as concrete pumping, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry work, and restoration projects as needed. Qualifications Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is preferred. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous. Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other construction equipment safely. Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete cutting, pouring, finishing, and related techniques. Understanding of construction site safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions.
