Job Overview MaxClean Restoration is seeking a skilled and reliable Reconstruction Technician to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on restoring properties after water, mold, fire, and other damage. You will perform high-quality reconstruction work including drywall, painting, tiling, and basic carpentry to help return homes and businesses to pre-loss condition. Key Responsibilities Perform drywall installation, repair, finishing, and spackling Paint interior surfaces to professional standards Install and repair tile (floors and walls) Complete basic carpentry tasks (framing, trim, doors, cabinets, etc.) Assist with general reconstruction and cleanup as needed on job sites Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow job specifications, timelines, and quality standards Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Drive company vehicles to job sites as required Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Proven experience with drywall, spackle, painting, tile work, and basic carpentry Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, working in various conditions) Must be authorized to work in the United States Reliable transportation and ability to commute consistently to our shop in Eatontown, NJ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in property restoration, construction, or remodeling Knowledge of moisture mitigation or reconstruction best practices (helpful but not required) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Company-provided tools and vehicle Steady work with a growing, IICRC-certified restoration company Opportunity to develop skills in the restoration industry Supportive team environment
