Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Helper for Commercial Roofing and be a vital part of delivering high-quality roofing solutions! In this energetic role, you will assist skilled roofing professionals in installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial roofing systems. Your enthusiasm and willingness to learn will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on construction experience while working outdoors on diverse roofing projects. Responsibilities Support roofing crews by carrying materials, tools, and equipment to job sites Assist with the installation and repair of various roofing systems, including metal roofing, single-ply membrane roofing, and restoration projects Help set up scaffolding, ladders, and safety harnesses in accordance with construction safety regulations Prepare work areas by cleaning debris and organizing tools and materials for efficient workflow Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of hand tools, power tools, and construction safety harnesses Interpret basic construction plans and schematics to assist with project tasks Participate in site cleanup and ensure compliance with all workplace safety regulations Requirements Prior experience in construction or roofing is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Ability to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work in various weather conditions Familiarity with ladder use, scaffolding setup, and safety harnesses is a plus Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics is advantageous Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Valid work authorization to perform physically demanding tasks on construction sites Embark on a rewarding career path that builds your skills in roofing and construction!
