Overview Join our dynamic team as a Post-Construction Cleanup Laborer and play a vital role in transforming freshly completed building projects into pristine, ready-to-occupy spaces. This energetic position involves thorough cleaning, debris removal, and detailed finishing touches to ensure each project meets the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive cleanup of construction sites, including debris removal, trash hauling, and surface cleaning to prepare spaces for occupancy Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to assist with surface preparation, material handling, and site tidying Assist with the installation of building materials such as trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and flooring to support ongoing remodeling efforts Conduct detailed inspections of completed work areas to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Support the interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings to accurately identify areas requiring cleanup or finishing touches Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate cleanup schedules and ensure timely project completion Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe operation of tools and equipment Skills Prior construction site experience with knowledge of building construction processes and safety procedures Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, caulking guns, masonry tools, tile saws, and other relevant equipment Familiarity with Bluebeam software for reviewing construction plans and technical drawings Experience with window installation, concrete finishing, stucco application, masonry work, flooring installation, tile laying, and hardscape projects Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans accurately Knowledge of electrical and plumbing basics related to post-construction cleanup tasks Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on safety and efficiency Strong attention to detail in cleaning standards and finishing touches for remodeling projects Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when required for site clearing or material handling Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of diverse construction projects while honing your skills across multiple trades.
